Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
• 
  
• Coverage includes 1-2 weekends per month on an ongoing basis
• 
  
• Work independently as the only urologist on duty during assignment
• 
  
• Handle 100% adult and geriatric patients in emergency department and inpatient settings
• 
  
• Perform 2-5 hospital-based surgeries per weekend
• 
  
• See an average of 15-20 patients per day
• 
  
• Required procedures include ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, general urology, trauma cases, nephrectomy, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, and incontinence procedures
• 
  
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for documentation
• 
  
• Work at a Level II trauma facility with lab and X-ray services on-site
• 
  
• Must be board certified with active state license
• 
  
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred
• 
  
• Must have excellent experience, ratings, and training background

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that serves as a Level II trauma center, providing advanced medical and surgical services to the community. The facility features modern equipment including on-site laboratory and imaging services, supporting a full range of urological procedures and emergency care. The urology department consists of four specialists working collaboratively to provide comprehensive urological services to adult and geriatric patients.
