Job Details:

• Provide urology coverage with daytime clinic hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 1 hour lunch) plus night beeper call (5:00 PM - 8:00 AM) for select dates, and 24-hour call shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM) starting in August
• 
  
• Coverage needed for select dates from July through December
• 
  
• 24-hour call coverage only beginning in August
• 
  
• Average callback time is 2 to 6 hours per day
• 
  
• Perform approximately 3 to 4 surgeries per week in the operating room
• 
  
• See approximately 20 patients per day in clinic with 10 to 15 procedures per week
• 
  
• Required procedures include ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy
• 
  
• Preferred procedures include TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy
• 
  
• Disposable flexible cystoscopes available on site
• 
  
• Robotics available but not required
• 
  
• EMR system: Cerner
• 
  
• Practice setting: Hospital
• 
  
• Supported by 2 permanent physicians on staff
• 
  
• Board Certification (BC or BE) required
• 
  
• Active Arizona license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
• 
  
• DEA registration required
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience required

The facility is equipped with modern technology, including robotic surgical capabilities, and supports a collaborative clinical environment with established permanent physician staff. The hospital utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical record system and is committed to providing high-quality patient care to the surrounding community.
