General urology care provided in clinic and on call settings
Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; night call hours are 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM; 24-hour call runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on a 1:6 rotation
Minimum of 3 months of locum coverage required
Minimum of 5 to 6 days of call plus clinic per month required
See approximately 20 to 25 patients per day in clinic
Perform approximately 20 to 30 surgeries per month
Procedures include cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections
Robotic surgery equipment available on site; robotic procedures not required
Call volume consists of approximately 20% new consults and 80% established patients returning to the ED
Provider may take hospital call during clinic hours
Locum provider will be responsible for rounding
Hospitalist team present for admissions support
EMR system used is Epic
Support staff includes 2 RNs, a medical assistant, a surgery scheduler, and 2 front office staff members
Must be board certified or board eligible (within 0 to 5 years of residency completion)
Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
Active Washington state license highly preferred; IMLC letter of qualification accepted at time of submission
Candidates must be able to cover approximately 80% of scheduled dates and must provide specific available and blackout dates through February 2026
