Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide urology clinic and/or call coverage on an ongoing basis
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
24-hour call coverage also required
Support staff includes 4 Medical Assistants, 1 CSA, and 1 RN
Patient population is adults 18 and older, with the exception of emergency torsion cases presenting during call
Department mixes cystoscopy/stent procedures with office visits, typically 24-28 patients per day
EMR system is EPIC
Practice setting includes both clinic and hospital
Robotic surgery available
16 total operating rooms available
Supervision of new Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants required
Office equipment includes cystoscope, towers, and injections
Core procedures include vasectomy, cystoscopy (in OR), prostate procedures, ureteroscopy (in OR), lithotripsy, and orchiopexy
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology required
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
