Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for urology services at Level 1 trauma facility
• 
  
• Schedule includes multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts and 10-hour call shifts
• 
  
• Handle 2-6 hours of callback coverage per day
• 
  
• Treat adult patient population (18+ years) with exception of emergency torsion cases
• 
  
• Conduct 24-28 patient visits per day combining office visits with cystoscopy and stent procedures
• 
  
• Perform core urology procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy
• 
  
• Utilize robotic surgery capabilities and advanced urological equipment
• 
  
• Work with 16 operating rooms across hospital and surgery center locations
• 
  
• Supervise new nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• 
  
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 
  
• Board certification or board eligibility in Urology required
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year experience required, will accept new graduates
• 
  
• PA medical license and DEA registration required
