Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour on-call urology coverage for Level 1 trauma center
• 
  
• Coverage dates: July 13th-17th (or 20th) and September 21st (7a) - 27th (7a)
• 
  
• Handle 2-6 hours of callback per day
• 
  
• Treat adult patient population (over 18) with exception of emergency torsion cases
• 
  
• Manage 24-28 patients per day mixing cystoscopy/stent procedures with office visits
• 
  
• Perform core procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy
• 
  
• Utilize robotic surgery capabilities and perform scope procedures as part of practice
• 
  
• Supervise new nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• 
  
• Work with support staff including 4 medical assistants, 1 CSA, and 1 RN
• 
  
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 
  
• Access to 16 operating rooms across multiple locations
• 
  
• Office equipment available including cystoscope, towers, and injection capabilities
• 
  
• Board certification or board eligibility in Urology required
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year experience required (new graduates accepted)
• 
  
• PA medical license and DEA registration required
