Physician - Vascular Surgeon

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Surgery, is seeking a faculty member to join its expanding Vascular Surgery team in support of the department's mission to deliver the highest quality patient care while advancing education, research, and academic excellence within the region's premier academic health system and quaternary referral center.

The position offers the opportunity to practice within a collaborative, multi-site model, providing inpatient, outpatient, and procedural care at The University of Kansas Health System's hospitals and ambulatory locations throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Physicians will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless access to advanced vascular care across the region.

As a member of the academic faculty, the successful candidate will actively participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities also exist to engage in clinical trials, outcomes-based research, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activities, including publication and presentation of findings at regional and national conferences, advancing both individual career goals and the field of vascular surgery.

Required Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required, or equivalent degree
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Vascular Surgery
  • Completion of a Vascular Surgery Fellowship or integrated residency
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Kansas and Missouri
