Saint Francis High School is seeking a knowledgeable, engaging, and qualified Science teacher with the ability to teach Chemistry and Physics at the high school level.
The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for the sciences, a strong academic background, and a commitment to helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through instruction and hands-on learning.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching high school Chemistry and Physics courses
Designing and delivering engaging lessons that support a college preparatory curriculum
Incorporating laboratory experiences and practical applications into instruction
Assessing student progress and providing timely, constructive feedback
Maintaining a safe and effective classroom and laboratory environment
Collaborating with colleagues to support student achievement and school initiatives
Qualified candidates should possess:
A bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Physics, Education, or a related field
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to academic excellence and student-centered learning
Teaching experience at the high school level preferred
