What You Will Do
Lead the physics simulation team to develop and implement advanced modeling techniques using C/C++ and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency, driving improvements in product offerings.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
Analyze complex data sets to derive insights that inform decision-making and product development.
Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Ideal Candidate Background
5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a focus on simulation and modeling.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams and driving engineering projects to successful completion.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
Preferred
Experience in insurance, AI, or environmental technology sectors.
Familiarity with simulation tools and frameworks relevant to physics modeling.
A track record of working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $210K to $250K, complemented by a meaningful equity grant, offering significant potential for financial growth as the company continues to expand.
