The School District of Reedsburg is seeking an energetic individual for a high school Physics teaching position starting with the 2026-2027 school year. Reedsburg Area High School (RAHS) has a student population of about 900 students. Classes to be taught by this position will mainly be Physics and AP Physics, and will include Chemistry or Earth & Physical Science depending on student enrollment. Physics and Broadfield Science certifications are required. Chemistry and Earth/Space Science certifications are preferred.
We are seeking an individual who will actively engage students in the learning process in science classes. Candidates should be organized, flexible, have strong communication skills, and be able to differentiate instruction within the classroom. They should be able to plan and prepare high-level, creative learning units that are engaging, relevant, address student needs and be based on best practices. Additionally, they must be able to maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and make a positive and substantial contribution to the school and district.
