Piano Accompanist for Grade 5 and Grades 6-8 Choruses

The Public Schools of Brookline is seeking piano accompanists for grade 5 chorus and grade 6, 7 and 8 chorus. Qualified pianist have the ability to sight read complex scores and choral arrangements, play with feeling and support a group. Our choruses range in size from approximately 30 to 80 students and each chorus has a director who will supply the music and direction for the accompanist. Classes meet for 45 or 50 minutes, 5th grade choruses meets once per week and 6-8 grade chorus meets twice per week. Pay is a stipend of $1200 for the school year for a class that meets once per week and $2400 for the school year for a class that meets twice per week.
