Located in Broomfield, Colorado, Classical Tones is committed to fostering confidence, creativity, and a love of music in every student.

Role Description\n

\n

We are seeking a part-time, on-site Piano Instructor to join our team in Broomfield, CO.

\n

The Piano Instructor will teach both individual and small-group piano lessons, adapting instruction to each student's age, experience level, learning style, and goals. Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, teaching piano technique and repertoire, incorporating music theory and ear training into instruction, and monitoring student progress.

\n

The instructor will communicate regularly with students and parents regarding lesson goals, practice expectations, and performance opportunities. Our studio hosts three recitals each year, providing students with meaningful opportunities to showcase their progress and build confidence as performers.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Preparing students for examinations, auditions, or competitions, as appropriate.

• Maintaining an organized, positive, and professional teaching environment.
• \n
• Participating in studio events and supporting the studio's educational mission.
• \n
• Encouraging consistent practice habits and helping students develop a lifelong love of music.

Qualifications\n

\n

• \n
• Background in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, Music Education, or a related field.
• \n
• Strong understanding of music theory and the ability to integrate it naturally into piano instruction.
• \n
• Experience teaching private and/or small-group piano lessons, preferably in a studio or school setting.
• \n
• Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans for students of varying ages and skill levels.
• \n
• Patient, encouraging, and student-centered teaching style with excellent communication skills.
• \n
• Reliable, professional, and punctual, with the ability to work on-site in Broomfield, CO.
• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, Piano Performance, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
• \n
• Experience preparing students for recitals, competitions, examinations (such as Trinity College or ABRSM), or auditions is a plus.

Compensation\n

• Compensation:$45 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).
