Warehouse Associate
Payrate: 20.00-20.90/hr
3+ month contract
Hours: 2:00am-10:30am

Job Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner and pushcart to accurately pick products from warehouse shelves and place them into designated containers.

• Work in various temperature-controlled environments, including ambient, cooler, and freezer areas, with rotation between departments based on business needs.

• Verify order accuracy and prepare shipments by adding appropriate packaging materials, such as ice, dunnage, and gel packs.

• Securely seal packages and place completed orders on the shipping line.

• Report inventory discrepancies, including incorrect product locations, missing items, or insufficient stock, and collaborate with the inventory team to resolve issues.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including performing general housekeeping and recycling duties.

• Assist with training new and existing team members as needed.

• Follow all company health and safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Maintain reliable attendance and meet daily productivity and accuracy expectations.

• Work overtime as needed, including with short or same-day notice.

• Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 2 years of previous warehouse or related industry experience in lieu of formal education.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environments.

• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and body harnesses when applicable.

• Flexibility to work overtime with limited advance notice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience.

• Experience working in a cold chain or temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management processes.

• Basic computer and math skills.

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, lifting, and handling of products.

• Work may be performed in three temperature environments:

  • Ambient: Standard warehouse temperatures.

  • Cooler: Approximately 40 F.

  • Freezer: Approximately -20 F.

• Employees may rotate between temperature-controlled areas and departments based on operational needs.

• Required use of appropriate PPE depending on assigned tasks.

• Overtime may be required with short or same-day notice.
