Picker / Packer (1st Shift) - Weekly Pay

We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Picker / Packers and Production Operators to join our team in Kent, OH. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, perfect for individuals who want a consistent daylight schedule and the convenience of a weekly paycheck.

What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities)

  • Quality Inspection: Perform visual checks on rims and wheels; verify valve stem holes and DOT stamps are accurate.

  • Packing & Stacking: Safely move rims from chutes to skids or racks using specific weave patterns.

  • Material Handling: Set up skids, wrap completed loads with shrink wrap, and prepare them for pickup.

  • Documentation: Tag skids and ensure production paperwork is accurate and complete.

  • Safety First: Regularly review and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 year of general labor, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to identify small quality issues and follow precise work instructions.

  • Reliable: Must have consistent transportation for a 6:00 AM start time.

  • Team Player: Positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
  Physical Requirements & Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions (lifting, bending, reaching).

  • Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing shop environment (exposure to heat/cold).

  • Required PPE: Steel-toed boots, eye protection, and hearing protection.
