Job Description
Employnet is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting productivity and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders using pick tickets, handheld scanners, and warehouse management systems.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack products securely according to company shipping standards and customer requirements.
- Label, palletize, and stage completed orders for outbound shipments.
- Inspect products for defects, damage, or discrepancies before shipment.
- Receive, sort, and stock incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report inventory variances.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts when certified.
- Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Assist with other warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- 1yr of recent long-term consecutive work history
- Basic computer and scanner operation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
