Picker/Packer

Picker/Packer - $14.00/HOUR

A growing logistics company in East El Paso is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join its warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing products for shipment, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and pick products from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
• Sort and organize products and materials for shipment or storage.
• Pack items safely, accurately, and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation.
• Prepare orders for shipping by labeling, staging, and verifying shipment information.
• Inspect products for defects or damage prior to packaging and shipment.
• Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, packing, sorting, or order-picking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Basic experience using warehouse technology, including handheld scanners and warehouse management systems, is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
