Position: Picker-Packer
Location: Henrietta, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is partnered with a leading distribution company in Henrietta, NY seeking energetic and dependable individuals to join their team as Entry-Level Picker-Packers. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers candidates the chance to demonstrate their skills and transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and being on their feet throughout the day. Associates will support order fulfillment operations through picking, packing, scanning, and shipping activities while helping maintain efficient warehouse operations. Previous warehouse experience is not required, but candidates with a proven track record of reliability and strong work ethic are highly encouraged to apply.

Pay Rate:

• $18.00/Hour
  • 2nd Shift: +10% ($19.80/Hour)
  • 3rd Shift: +15% ($20.70/Hour)

Shift(s):

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM | Monday - Friday
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM | Monday - Friday
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM | Sunday - Thursday

Job Duties:

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Utilize scanning technology to process inventory and fulfill orders
• Walk extensively throughout the shift, covering approximately 8 miles per day
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations
• Verify product accuracy and ensure proper handling of materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Support daily warehouse goals and productivity targets

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand and remain active throughout the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work scheduled holidays to maintain customer service levels
• Ability to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays as business needs require
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer and scanning technology aptitude
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive walking throughout the shift (approximately 8 miles daily)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the workday
• Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
