Packaging Associate
Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite)
Duration: Approximately 6 Months
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-Time Day Shift
Job Summary
Seeking a dependable Packaging Associate to support daily warehouse and packaging operations. This role involves packing, repacking, labeling, inspecting, sorting, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining quality standards and a clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pack and repack products according to specifications
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
- Assemble, line, and prepare cartons, crates, and containers
- Inspect products, materials, and packaging for quality and accuracy
- Label containers, products, and shipments
- Load products into packaging equipment
- Sort, move, and organize products and materials
- Complete packaging and order documentation accurately
- Remove defective products and packaging materials
- Seal containers using appropriate tools and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic arithmetic and counting skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and quality standards
- Ability to learn new processes and procedures
Preferred Skills:
- Previous warehouse, packaging, or production experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced operations environment
Tools/Environment:
- Hand tools and packaging equipment
- Warehouse/operations environment
- No industrial equipment operation required
- Reports to the Operations Manager
- Full-time, day shift position under general supervision
