Location: Hopewell Junction, NY Employment Type: Full-Time| Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Available Shifts: -1st Shift Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM -2nd Shift Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM – 1:45 AM
Job Overview: We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented team members to join a manufacturing operation in Hopewell Junction, NY. Employees will be cross-trained in multiple areas, including product preparation, sharpening, packaging, and quality support. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are interested in developing manufacturing and machine operation skills.
Picker / Packer / Sharpener Responsibilities:
Sort and prepare products for processing
Unpack returned items for refurbishment and sharpening
Operate equipment used for sharpening, grinding, honing, buffing, cleaning, and finishing products
Inspect products for quality and accuracy throughout the process
Package finished products for shipment to customers
Clean and maintain machinery according to company procedures
Assist with machine calibration and routine maintenance tasks
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Support production needs and other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Comfortable working with machinery and hand-operated equipment
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn multiple roles through cross-training
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
