Position Overview

We are seeking energetic, reliable, and knowledgeable Pickleball Instructors to lead after-school Pickleball programs for students in grades 2–5. Instructors will introduce the fundamentals of Pickleball, promote physical activity, reinforce sportsmanship, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.

Candidates should have experience in Pickleball, youth coaching, or physical education and be comfortable managing small groups of elementary-age students.

Program Locations & Schedules

Different Locations: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3:20 pm - 4:20 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Pickleball fundamentals, including paddle skills, serving, rallying, footwork, scoring, and safety.
  • Organize engaging drills, skill-building exercises, and age-appropriate games.
  • Supervise and manage groups of students while ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence-building activities.
  • Set up and break down equipment before and after class.
  • Communicate with site contacts regarding attendance, student needs, or program updates.

Qualifications

  • Experience playing or coaching Pickleball, tennis, or similar racquet sports.
  • Prior experience working with elementary-age children preferred.
  • Strong classroom or group management skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly professional.
  • Must hold an Arizona DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR Cert.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time, session-based program.
