Pickleball Instructor- The Dancel Y In Ellicott City

POSITION SUMMARY:The Y in Central Maryland is hiring Pickleball coaches for youth and adult Pickleball classes and clinics, located at various Y Family Centers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Focus on quality experiences and engagement within programs, services, and activitiesProvide lessons and offer advice and tips to players at all levels, from beginners to those at advanced stagesReports any incidents or accidents to the SupervisorAssists in facility maintenance, routine preventative maintenance, and repairHelps maintain a monthly inventory of supplies, equipment, and or productsProvides excellent customer service and helps monitor guest feedbackHave a deep knowledge of the intricacies of the gameMaintains the cleanliness of the courts and surrounding areasFollows the court reservation system to ensure a smooth and even flow of traffic on and off courtsOffers all instructional services including private and semi-private lessons, small groups, clinics, team coaching, and tactics and strategyAssists in the coordination of all social and competitive events including special tournamentsImplements programs for all age groupsOther duties as assigned

Existing Pickleball Certification is a bonus!ACCOUNTABILITY:Accountable for completion of assigned goals as measured by the number of people served, cause driven measures, service satisfaction scores, operating results, and supervisor evaluation of assigned duties.
