Pickup and Delivery Driver/Setup

Vernon Dell Tractor Sales in Prospect, PA. is looking for a Deliver Driver/Setup person to deliver farm equipment and implements to customers and setup new equipment. Must be available Monday thru Fridays. Clean Driving Record Required. Minimum of 21 years old and must be able to lift a minimum 50 lbs. Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. We are looking to hire quickly. Duties include but not limited to:

• Ensures that assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentable
• Builds long term professional relationships with the customers
• Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, and vehicles
• Properly maintains vehicle
• Give basic operating instructions to the customer at the time of delivery.
• Ability to read maps, follow specific delivery directions and instructions
• Legally operate the vehicle owned by the dealership (possess the proper State Driver’s License).
• Keep record of pick-up and deliveries. Obtain necessary signatures, receipts and checks or cash.
• Check condition of equipment delivered to customers.
• Setup and prep new equipment for customer delivery.
• Must be able to operate lawn and garden equipment and farm tractors
• Must be able to operate a skid loader
• Willing to do light shop work and assembly work when not driving

Requirements of Position:

Candidate must be able to drive a manual transmission
Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year truck driving experience.
Candidate must be able to pass a DOT physical.

21 years old.
Clean Driving Record.
