Body In Motion Physical Therapy is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our team within the Health, Wellness, and Fitness sector. Our clinic integrates Pilates into physical therapy programs to enhance patient rehabilitation, improve core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. As a Pilates Instructor at Body In Motion, you will work closely with patients and therapists to provide safe, effective, and personalized Pilates sessions tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities

  • Design and lead Pilates classes and individualized sessions suitable for various fitness levels and rehabilitation needs.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to align Pilates exercises with patient treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate correct techniques and ensure safe practice among participants.
  • Assess participant progress and provide feedback to support improvement.
  • Modify Pilates routines to accommodate injuries, limitations, or special conditions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment.
  • Stay updated on Pilates methods, techniques, and industry trends to enhance instruction quality.

Requirements

  • Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized program.
  • Experience teaching Pilates in a clinical or fitness setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and rehabilitation principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to create and adapt Pilates programs to meet diverse client needs.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe environment and promoting wellness.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration within a multidisciplinary health care team.
