DescriptionPilot Vehicle Interface Design Engineer – Level 4 (Advanced Development Programs, Pilot Systems Engineering). Responsible for shaping next‑generation cockpit mechanisms for advanced aircraft. This is a non‑flying position.ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, and construct mockups of PVI mechanizations for tactical cockpits and present them to customers.Design, simulate, and refine PVI solutions for controls, displays, sensors, weapons, and air‑vehicle subsystems.Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and simulation technicians to implement, evaluate, and document PVI designs.Provide subject‑matter‑expert support to brief and train test pilots, production pilots, and training systems engineers.Apply high‑level knowledge of 4th/5th‑Gen fighters, ISR aircraft, and advanced manned and unmanned platforms to support operational studies.BenefitsFlexible scheduling options to support work‑life balance. Comprehensive benefits package available.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Recent DoD tactical aircraft operational or training experience as a pilot or aircrew in modern military unmanned aircraft.Experience in aviation and technology such as technical degree or technology development/test experience.Desired Skills:Experience with low observable manned or unmanned aircraft as pilot/aircrew.Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively within a team.Weapons School and/or Instructor pilot experience.DoD Top Secret security clearance.Security ClearanceMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The position requires a secret clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years.Location and Work ScheduleFort Worth, TX. Onsite full‑time. Work schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
