  • Location: West Chester, OH 45069 | 100% Onsite

  • Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM | Overtime available, including Saturdays as needed

  • Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hr | 45+ hours per week with additional overtime opportunities

Position Overview

This is a 6-month assignment with the potential to convert to a full-time position for the right candidate. Whether you're an experienced fabrication professional, a recent trade school graduate, or currently enrolled in welding school and eager to apply your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in a manufacturing environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous learning.

As a Fabrication Associate, you'll work alongside a skilled team to help build components for fire suppression systems from the ground up. You'll gain exposure to multiple areas of the fabrication process and receive training across different shop functions as your skills grow.

What You'll Do
  • Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grooving machines, threading machines, and related shop equipment

  • Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and prepare pipe according to specifications

  • Read and accurately use tape measures and basic measurement tools

  • Move, organize, and stage pipe and materials throughout the fabrication shop and pipe yard

  • Assemble pipe orders for shipment in both individual and bundled configurations

  • Perform general labor, assembly, bundling, and material handling tasks

  • Support machine setup and basic equipment maintenance activities

  • Assist with quality checks to ensure product accuracy and consistency

  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as required

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area

  • Follow all company safety standards, operating procedures, and OSHA guidelines

  • Collaborate with team members across multiple shop functions and cross-train in different areas of the operation

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 6 months of recent industrial or manufacturing experience

  • Experience operating machinery such as saws, fabrication equipment, or similar industrial equipment

  • Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure

  • Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements and calculations

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

  • Comfortable working with pipe, sheet metal, and fabrication materials throughout the day

  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to workplace safety

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent attendance and reliability

Preferred Qualifications
  • Fabrication, metalworking, pipefitting, or manufacturing experience

  • Exposure to welding equipment or welding school training

  • Experience operating grooving machines, threading equipment, band saws, or universal welders

  • Forklift experience

  • Experience in assembly, material handling, or production environments

  • Desire to learn multiple shop functions and grow within a manufacturing career

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
