Pipe Fitter Helper

Responsibilities:

Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring an experienced Pipe Fitter Helper to join our field team on an active power plant construction project in Carrollton, GA. If you have HDPE piping and underground installation experience, this is a strong opportunity with a top-ranked industrial general contractor.

About the Role

As a Pipe Fitter Helper, you'll assist with cutting, measuring, and installing HDPE piping, supporting the fitting and welding crew on underground and confined-space installations throughout the project site.

Pipe Fitter Helper Job Responsibilities

• Cut and measure HDPE pipe
• Assist in the installation, assembly, and welding of HDPE piping
• Work with underground piping installation
• Frequently lift materials up to 50 lbs
• Work in confined environments as required
• Maintain strict compliance with jobsite safety protocols in a drug-free workplace

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience:

Pipe Fitter Helper Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of industrial/commercial construction pipefitter helper experience preferred
• Familiarity with HDPE piping and underground installation preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
