What You'll Do:

  • Repair, install, replace, test, and fix the water, air, medical gas, supply steam systems traps etc.
  • Knowledge of steam piping and components
  • Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer and drain camera.
  • Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
  • Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
  • Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
  • Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
  • Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
  • Finish the HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
  • Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections and calibrations of equipment to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. Valid Driver's License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum hourly rate for the Pipefitter position is $40 and the maximum hourly rate is for the Pipefitter position is $50.48 an hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
