Crisdel Group Inc. has a position available for a Pipe Foreman experienced with water lines, sanitary & storm pipes. The Pipe Foreman will have supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations including daily production costs, safety, organization, and crew.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead and work alongside pipe crew.
  • Responsible for the safety of the crew and must understand Crisdel's safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Accountable for following project plans and schedules ensuring that crews perform activities to meet production goals.
  • Check equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
  • Establish and adjust work to meet construction schedule using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
  • Assist in cost control. Maintain employee time reporting.

  • Maintain a positive working relationship between co-workers and employees of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and agency individuals working on a Crisdel job site.

  • Be able to effectively communicate verbally and/or in writing at all times with all individuals.
  • Work in a productive and efficient manner while maintaining the highest level of quality work.
  • Be proficient in reading construction plans, specifications, and other contractual documents and applying them towards the successful construction of a project.
  • Be proficient in scheduling project work flow with in-house construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Be proficient in scheduling material deliveries.
  • Perform routine safety and quality control checks on the project and enforce compliance when required.
  • Be proficient in basic computer software applications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy construction.
  • Knowledge of project construction scope and objectives as well as understanding plans & specifications.
  • Knowledge of laying pipe for water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team to efficiently complete jobs to the highest customer satisfaction.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Effective Leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license issued within the United States clear of multiple and/or major violations.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen and motor vehicle records check. A criminal background check will also be conducted.
