We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Pipe Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency on the job site. This role is essential in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various construction projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the assembly and installation of pipes for water, waste, drainage, and various other systems as required by project specifications.
- Support pipe crews in measuring, cutting, threading, and aligning pipes during installation.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available for efficient pipe installation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in the inspection and testing of installed pipes to ensure system integrity and compliance with engineering standards.
- Dig trenches and lay pipes according to blueprints, site plans, and job specifications.
- Support the maintenance and repair of existing piping systems, identifying and reporting issues or obstructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
- Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or related field is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and handle manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and be flexible with job duties.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Reliable transportation preferred.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand, crouch, and bend for prolonged periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
