The Pipe Layer is responsible for installing underground utility piping systems including water, sewer, and storm drain lines. This role works closely with equipment operators and field crews to ensure proper installation and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
Install underground pipe systems according to plans and specifications
Assist with trench preparation, pipe alignment, and grading
Use lasers and grade rods to ensure accurate pipe installation
Connect pipe joints and fittings properly
Maintain safe trench and excavation practices
Assist with backfilling and jobsite cleanup
Work effectively with crew members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Previous underground utility or pipe laying experience preferred
Knowledge of trench safety and utility installation
Ability to read grade stakes and follow project plans
Physically able to lift materials and work in trenches
