    Description

    Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Pipe Superintendent for our manufacturing shop. In this role you will lead a team of pipe welders, pipe fitters, and pipe helpers in the prefabrication of industrial HVAC hydronic piping systems.

    Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the installation of industrial hydronic piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water

    • Prioritize safety and ensure the team completes audits and all EAS safety requirements

    • Manage project schedules

    • Maintain tool inspection reports

    • Review submittals, installation, and operation manuals

    • Interview and hire new employees to join the pipe department

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision

    • Familiarity with flowline manufacturing

    • Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods

    • Excellent time management skills and problem solving abilities

    • Ability to work both independently and as a team

    • Ability to read blueprints and schematics

    • Strong Interpersonal skills for coordinating teams

    • Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software

    Education Requirements:

    • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent

    • Trade School completion preferred

    Job Requirements/Special Skills:

    • Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift
