Description: Pipe Welder - Day Shift Pay: $29.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift Differential: Available for Night Shift Schedule: 5: 00 AM - 3: 30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Position Overview We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join a growing team. Candidates with ASME welding experience are highly preferred but not required. This role requires successful completion of a hands-on welding test involving MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding processes.
Responsibilities Perform pipe welding in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret welding procedures and fabrication drawings. Complete welds using MIG, Flux Core, and TIG processes. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Ensure all welds meet inspection and quality requirements.
Welding Test Requirements Test Duration: Up to 3 Hours Test Components 6"Schedule 80 Coupon 6G position at a 45-degree angle MIG and Flux Core welding 2"Extra Heavy Wall Pipe 6G position TIG weld-out
Additional testing may include: Weld Test X-Ray Inspection Bend Test
Qualifications Previous pipe welding experience required. Ability to pass weld testing and quality inspections. ASME experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
