Full Time Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Employee-Owned (ESOP) Welder
Primary Purpose: Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged
components to assemble structural forms, such as tanks, pressure
vessels, furnace shells, and building and bridge parts. Welder Essential
Functions: Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
Applies knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining,
weld shrinkage, and welding techniques. Lays out, positions, aligns and
fits components together. Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure
in position for welding. Set up equipment and welds parts, using arc,
gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment. May assemble
parts by bolting and riveting. May repair products by dismantling,
straightening press, and hand tools. Must be able to operate industrial
lift trucks. Pay Depending on Experience Welder Requirements: ? Work
within precise limits or standards of accuracy ? Ability to read
blueprints ? Travel between jobsites if the job(s) requires it Welder
Physical Requirements: ? Lift and carry objects weighing no more than 50
pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25
pounds ? Work at extreme temperatures, below 32 degrees and above 95
degrees ? Ability to wear a harness ? Climb on and maintain balance on
ladders, scaffolding, stairs and various uneven surfaces ? See well
(either naturally or with correction) ? Stand for long periods ? Stoop,
kneel, crouch, and crawl to reach hard to get at work areas; and use
hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects Experience: ?
