Perform welding of piping systems up to 48" Ø using SMAW and FCAW equipment
Prepare, cut, bevel, and assemble pipe components using CNC pipe cutters and tube benders
Read and interpret both structural and piping blueprints with accuracy
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and code specifications (ASME Section IX, API codes)
Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
Work collaboratively with fabrication and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural welding/fitting or pipe welding in industrial or fabrication environments
Proficiency with SMAW, FCAW welding equipment
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills (structural and piping)
Knowledge of ASME Section IX and API welding standards
Ability to work in multiple positions (1G-6G) and handle large-diameter pipes
AISC certification preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with robotic pipe welding equipment
Additional welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
