We are seeking experienced
Pipe Welders to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for performing high-quality pipe welding using multiple welding processes while meeting strict quality standards and production requirements. Candidates with
ASME welding experience are highly preferred, but all qualified pipe welders are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate has strong pipe welding experience, can read fabrication drawings and welding procedures, and consistently produces code-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous pipe welding experience required
Experience performing
MIG (GMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), and TIG (GTAW) welding
Ability to successfully pass required weld testing and quality inspections
Ability to read and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform pipe welding according to engineering drawings, welding procedures, and project specifications
Complete welds using MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding processes
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding specifications
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements
Maintain productivity while meeting strict quality and safety standards
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety procedures
Follow all welding procedures, quality standards, and OSHA safety regulations
Assist with additional fabrication duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete a hands-on welding test lasting up to
3 hours, including:
6-inch Schedule 80 Pipe Coupon
6G Position at a 45-degree angle
MIG and Flux Core welding
2-inch Extra Heavy Wall PipeAdditional qualification testing may include:
Weld Test Evaluation
X-Ray InspectionBend TestPreferred Qualifications
ASME welding experience preferred
Experience in pressure vessel, pipeline, or industrial pipe fabrication
Knowledge of welding codes and inspection requirements
Experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to
50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in various welding positions throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working around heavy steel, welding fumes, sparks, heat, and industrial machinery
Work Environment
Heavy industrial manufacturing and pipe fabrication facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, productivity, and safety
Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, overhead cranes, heat, sparks, and fabrication machinery
