POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Pipe Welders

Pay Rate: $22 - $30

Location: North Charleston, SC

Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Schedule: 5-10s, 8 on Saturday, OT not required

Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK

• Welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipes using stick welding techniques
• Working with SCH40 and SCH80 pipe material
• Passing weld tests in 6G or 5G positions at shop before moving to job site
• Performing welds on pipes in a 45-degree position (6G)
• Working at the shop located at North Charleston, SC, then moving to project site once badging is complete

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 years of experience required
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
• Ability to pass either a 6G or 5G weld test
• Ability to badge for Boeing
• Clear background check
• Valid identification for badging process
