Looking for consistent hours and hands-on industrial work? LINK Staffing is hiring an experienced Pipe Yard Helper for a busy industrial pipe operation in Houston. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering 12-hour day shifts and up to 60 hours per week based on business needs.

You’ll work in an outdoor pipe yard handling pipe, operating tools, supporting production, and helping keep materials moving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, stage, move, and organize pipe and yard materials
• Use grinders, hammers, pressure washers, and other hand and power tools
• Perform pipe grinding, deburring, and general material preparation
• Assist with securing pipe and materials on trucks and yard racks
• Support hydrostatic testing, painting, fabrication, threading, and general production operations
• Maintain clean work areas and follow established safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous pipe yard experience required
• High school diploma or GED required; proof must be provided
• Previous pipe grinding, deburring, fabrication, or threading experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as required
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive physical work
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots required
• Reliable transportation required
• Current resume required
• Must complete a required 5-hour safety orientation
• Background check required
