ProChem Water, LLC is seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters, Mechanical Installers, Industrial Mechanics, and Process Piping Technicians to join our Water Systems Fabrication & Installation Team. This role is ideal for skilled trades professionals who enjoy hands-on work, nationwide travel, and building complex industrial systems.

You will install, fabricate, assemble, test, commission, maintain, and repair industrial water and wastewater treatment systems at manufacturing and industrial facilities throughout the United States. This position involves working with process piping, pumps, valves, filtration systems, chemical feed equipment, and custom-engineered water treatment systems.

What You'll Do

• Install and fabricate industrial process piping systems
• Assemble and install water and wastewater treatment equipment
• Set, align, and connect pumps, valves, flow meters, strainers, tanks, and related process equipment
• Work with PVC, CPVC, HDPE, stainless steel, carbon steel, and other piping materials
• Read and interpret P&IDs, piping drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
• Perform pipe layout, measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, fitting, and assembly
• Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, startup activities, and system commissioning
• Troubleshoot and repair piping systems and mechanical equipment
• Follow project schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Work closely with project teams and customer personnel to complete installations successfully

Qualified candidates may have experience in one or more of the following trades:

• Mechanical Installer

• Millwright
• Process Piping Technician
• Equipment Installer
• Construction Pipefitter
• Maintenance Technician
• Water Treatment Technician

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or construction environments
• Installation of process piping systems
• Experience with pumps, valves, filtration systems, and water treatment equipment
• Mechanical assembly and equipment installation experience
• Experience using pipefitting tools, fabrication equipment, and rigging equipment
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Plastic fusion welding experience
• TIG, MIG, or stick welding experience
• Pipefitter apprenticeship completion
• Journeyman Pipefitter credentials
• Welding certifications
• Other relevant trade certifications

Travel Requirements

This position requires frequent travel throughout the United States. Travel may include:

• Overnight stays
• Extended project assignments
• Weekend work during installations
• Local and out-of-state project work

All approved travel expenses are paid by the company using a company credit card, and employees receive a 10% travel premium for qualifying travel time.  

Physical & Work Environment

This position involves working in industrial and construction environments and may include:

• Indoor and outdoor work
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Working around industrial machinery and fabrication equipment
• Climbing ladders and accessing elevated areas
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and manual labor
• Working around water treatment chemicals and process systems
• Confined space work when required
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Driving record acceptable to company insurance requirements
• Ability to travel extensively
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Authorization to work in the United States
