MWH Constructors, a global leader in heavy civil construction of water and wastewater facilities, is currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter to support a critical wastewater treatment plant construction project in Gypsum, Colorado.

Essential Functions:
• Adhere to the MWH safety program. • Coordinate with mechanical superintendent to configure pipe system layout. • Select proper pipes, hangers, and other hydraulic cylinders. • Assemble materials at job site. • Select type and size of pipe. • Cut, thread, and hammer pipes according to pipe system specs. • Use saws and cutting torches to craft proper sizes. • Secure pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment. • Secure pipes to tanks. • Set Process Equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers). • Repair and maintain pipe systems and components. • Resolve problems such as obstructions or holes. • Remove water from flooded manholes or basements. • Repair cracks and leaks. • Interprets plans, blueprints, and sketches of proposed structures in terms of the relevant specifications. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid drivers license. Experience with flanged pipe and fittings. Previous work includes HDPE, Ductile, PVC, and copper pipe. Maintains a constant drive to achieve production outputs in order to meet targets. Required to communicate information, ideas, directions, with the capability to perform the task or project discussed. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with utmost regard to safety.
