Pipeline General Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple pipeline construction projects or large-scale operations across the region 1

• Lead and manage field superintendents, foremen, and crews

• Coordinate with project managers, estimating, and operations teams

• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations 2

• Plan manpower, equipment, and materials across projects

• Enforce safety standards, compliance, and company policies 3

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality

• Resolve field issues, delays, and subcontractor challenges

• Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and internal leadership

• Drive productivity and efficiency across all jobs

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in pipeline construction or oil & gas field operations

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews/projects

• Deep understanding of pipeline construction methods and field execution

• Experience with scheduling, manpower planning, and cost control 4

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
