As the Pipeline Engineer, you will report to the Director of Engineering and Integrity and work closely with a team in our Engineering and Integrity department. If you are a Pipeline Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to grow with a dynamic, growing firm, we encourage you to apply.Providing project management support to new and existing projectsIdentifying additional opportunities within the client organizationCollaborating with other project managers on their projectsProviding SME integrity and regulatory compliance support to assigned clienteleConducting site surveys and research to determine pipeline specifications and placement as well as pump sizesPreparing and presenting technical materials such as cost estimates, pipeline layouts and flow simulationsCalculating project requirements such as materials, budget and timeCreating and developing digital designs such as pipeline maps, blueprints and mechanical diagramsOverseeing the construction and installation process of pipeline infrastructure and systemsManaging the project workflow and budgetPerforming quality control assessments and ensuring that the pipelines comply with all technical and safety regulationsPerforming maintenance, repairs and upgrades to pipelines, as neededKeeping up to date with the latest advancements in design software, technical standards and construction techniques.The Pipeline Engineer will work primarily in our Dallas or Houston offices, with the potential for some remote work. We offer a hybrid schedule and open, fluid flexibility. Physical presence in Dallas or Houston as much as possible is preferred, with occasional travel within the Gulf Coast area, 1-3 days every couple of months.Qualifications and Education Requirements Altamira is looking for a Pipeline Engineer who is a goal-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills.
