Job Summary Work with the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) team members to conduct hands-on classroom presentations to Middle School and High School students. Presentations introduce students to a variety of healthcare career opportunities through exploration and experiential activities that include a lecture and discussion with fresh or frozen organ dissections (i.e., heart, lung, chicken wing and eyeball). Work with program staff to deliver other healthcare career program activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Minimum qualifications High School Graduate. Completion of some college courses in science or health related fields.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the medical field. Experience working with Microsoft Office programs. Familiarity with careers in health care.
