POSITION OVERVIEWTarga is currently seeking an Engineer to serve as a Pipeline Project Manager and join our team in the Houston Corporate office. The Engineer will be accountable for the overall project execution, coordination, implementation, direction, control, and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, organize, and execute multiple, simultaneous capital/expense projects with budgets typically under $15 MMCreate and execute projects and remain flexible to meet changing needs and requirementsPrepare cost estimates/schedules and track project performanceManage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and remains accessible to customers during life of projectEnsure projects are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory requirements to meet necessary functionality and performance requirements.Manage project budgets and minimize exposure and riskCommunicate project progress and significant milestones effectively and openly in a team environmentEnsure project documents are complete and stored appropriatelyConduct and document PHAs, MOCs, and PSSRs for all projects prior to startupOther duties as assignedMINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSExperience Required: Minimum of 7+ years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or similar roleExperience Preferred: 10 -15 years of field experience working within the Oil & Gas or Hydrocarbon Processing industriesExperience in transportation pipeline operations; involving outdoor pipeline work.Provides active coaching and mentoring to Project Engineers and/or Coordinators assigned to him/her.
