Receptionist – Part-Time (2nd Shift)

Location: Thales – Austin Arboretum
Shift: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (CT)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Interviews: Microsoft Teams → In Person

Thales is seeking a polished, professional Receptionist to support front desk operations in a security-focused environment with frequent high-level visitors. Personality, discretion, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage check-in/check-out (eWelcome system)
• Issue and track visitor/employee badges
• Answer and route phone calls
• Handle mail, deliveries, and FedEx labels
• Support meetings and office coordination
• Maintain email distribution lists
• Monitor conference room bookings (Outlook)
• Report facilities issues (CBRE system)
• Maintain a tidy, professional reception area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior receptionist/front desk experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional, composed, and discreet demeanor

Compliance Requirement

Must have U.S. citizenship or dual citizenship and be eligible for post-hire clearance (CFIUS / U.S. Department of the Treasury).
