- Associates degree or higher. 20 years of experience in the field of piping design.
- Extensive demonstrated history of professional experience in the design of Piping systems.
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Piping systems.
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas.
- Work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.
- This position is hybrid. If a candidate is in the GVL area, they would need to report to the GVL office 2 days per week. If they are elsewhere in the country, they may not need to be in the office or may just be remote.
Responsibilities:
- Checking of Isometric Drawings for construction packages.
- Ability to use checklists to verify complete and accurate piping isometric drawings referencing P&ID's, Material Specifications, Stress Analysis Reports and stress isometrics, vendor equipment, and instrumentation drawings.
- Basic proficiency in 3D CAD platforms to maneuver within the design environment and extract pertinent information.
- Meet schedule deadlines to support construction packages.
