Associates degree or higher. 20 years of experience in the field of piping design.
Extensive demonstrated history of professional experience in the design of Piping systems.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Piping systems.
Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas.
Work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.
This position is hybrid. If a candidate is in the GVL area, they would need to report to the GVL office 2 days per week. If they are elsewhere in the country, they may not need to be in the office or may just be remote.
Responsibilities:
Checking of Isometric Drawings for construction packages.
Ability to use checklists to verify complete and accurate piping isometric drawings referencing P&ID's, Material Specifications, Stress Analysis Reports and stress isometrics, vendor equipment, and instrumentation drawings.
Basic proficiency in 3D CAD platforms to maneuver within the design environment and extract pertinent information.
Meet schedule deadlines to support construction packages.
