We are conducting a confidential search for a Piping Engineer to support industrial engineering projects based out of Birmingham, Alabama. This role will focus on piping system design, engineering calculations, and project execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support piping system design for industrial facilities
- Perform pipe stress reviews, hydraulic calculations, and piping system evaluations
- Review layouts, tie-ins, routing, and constructability considerations
- Coordinate with mechanical, process, structural, and project teams
- Support construction packages and field implementation
Qualifications
- 5–20 years of piping engineering experience
- Experience in heavy industrial or process environments
- Strong background in pipe stress and hydraulic calculations
- Familiarity with industrial piping codes and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
