Job Duties:
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
- Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Examines assigned truck to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience or training in a diesel mechanic role
- High school diploma or GED required
Hours: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.
