About the Role:
Join the team at Southside Pizzeria as a Pizza Cook, where your effort and attention to detail can help us make great pizzas. No experience is required but ability to work well with others and a willingness to learn is required. Pay starts at $17-$20 + tipouts. Starting pay depending on experience and how well you fit our operation. We offer health insurance and 401k for long term employees.
Responsibilities:
Spend a few days learning the menu and our operations
Prepare and cook pizzas, sandwiches and salads
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Help kitchen leads monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
Engage with customers (just basic, "we'll be right with you" type greetings)
Requirements
Willingness to learn
Kitchen experience preferred but not required
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Food Handler’s certification a huge plus but not required
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
