Pizza Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

• Position Title: Delivery Driver
• Location: Gionino's Pizzeria (1528 E. Third St, Dayton, OH 45403)
• Reports To: Store Manager or Shift Supervisor
• Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (depending on availability)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery of Orders:

   • Safely deliver pizzas, chicken, salads, and other menu items to customers' homes or businesses.
   • Ensure orders are accurate and packaged correctly for delivery.

2. Customer Service:

   • Greet customers warmly upon delivery.
   • Handle cash or credit card payments as required.
   • Resolve any customer issues or concerns professionally.

3. Route Planning and Time Management:

   • Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals.
   • Track delivery progress to meet customer expectations on delivery times.

4. Vehicle Maintenance:

   • Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and clean.

5. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
   • Assist with in-store duties, such as food preparation or cleaning, during downtime.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of driving and carrying pizza boxes.
• Cash Handling Skills
